A secret agent John Steed (Fiennes), under the direction of 'Mother' (Broadbent) & 'Father' (Shaw), foils the plans of Sir August de Winter's (Connery), a mad meteorologist, plans to hold the world to ransom by controlling its weather. Steed investigates the master of jujitsu and doctor of meteorological science Dr. Mrs Emma Peel (Thurman) as she is the only suspect, but soon they join forces to defeat the evil de Winter.
