I have a collection of The Ashton Drake Porcelain Dolls for Sale and dont know where to advertise them could you assist in this matter they are in excellent condition - I am downsizing due to selling.
Why do you use auction houses where the auctioneer makes no attempt to really sell the item and cant wait to bring the hammer down when you have the choice to use the ones who do work hard and have proved their worth?
close up film of me was apparently on Cash in the Attic at Eldreds auction rooms shown today.
I,ve never been on the tele before and wonder if the programme is to be shown again if so please advise
Thanks Hazel
Please tell Lorne Spicer that the plural of pound is pounds and not pound. It is very irritating
Thank you
I applied to be part of the new series of Cash in the Attic and have not heard from you. I wanted to raise money for the charity Women World Wide and the trek I am joining for them in Sept 2008 in Tanzania. Please confirm I have been unsuccessful so I can notify the charity and try another way to sell my goods to raise the sponsorship money.
thanks Christine Sanderson,

I have just watched the Tuesday March 4th show. As a specialist Tunbridge Ware collector who also lectures in the subject I was dismayed to see the expert and the auctioneer both get the description of the small boxes totally wrong. None of them were Tunbridge Ware (the mosaic box was in fact Italian micro mosaic Sorrento Ware). No wonder they didn't fetch good prices but what faith can we have in authenticity when experts get it wrong.
I have a large collection of miniature alcohol bottles most of which are full and some sealed whisky makes up most of it i would like to sell but have no idea where to start as it is such a large collection.
A week or so ago there was a programme which was collecting money for an organisation for people with brain tumours to have MRI scans. There was young girl who was diagnosed at 19 years of age. I also have a similar condition and would like any details tat you can forward regarding this.
Many thanks Jayne Griffiths
A friend of mine was on the programme from Liverpool this week and missed it. Will it be available as a download? If so when?

A couple of months ago "Cash in the Attic" showed a small museum in the city of london which showed rooms as they were back in the 18th century. The show used these rooms to show how places were decorated back in those days. Can anybody remember this particular broadcast and tell me the name of the museum as I would really like to visit it?

I used to enjoy Cash in the Attic, but Angela Rippon speaks to the viewers, experts & sellers as though they were 8 yrs olds. Why is she so fake, her feigned enthusiasm and silly comments have switched me off!

Cash in the Attic is a great programme! In the final episode of the last new series shown earlier this year the lovely Jules Hudson was the presenter and I was thrilled to see him. I do hope he will be presenting more shows in the future!
My brother has a large collection of buses, trolley buses and trams left to him by my dad. He would like them valued and advice on the best place to sell them please. I don't think he'd want to appear on the show though. Thanking you in anticipation.
My parents are looking to downsize but have so much furniture, could you let me know how we apply for cash in the attic, thanks.
Programmes such as Cash in the Attic, Car Booty etc are spoilt by the sound of the voices of the female presenters. Lorne Spicer's voice is so sing-sing it nearly drives me mad, and the voice of Angela Rippon is so patronising I have to turn off the sound. Do they or any others involved with the presentation of these progs. ever listen to the falseness of their commentaries. I know they don't talk like this in real life so why do they put on these voices for T.V.??? IT IS SO ANNOYING AND FRUSTRATING AND SPOILS THE ENJOYMENT OF THE PROGRAMMES.
i enjoyed the cash in the attic programmes best when the money earned from selling antiques was halved - to the vendors and to a charity they chose. i think thats only fair when they are having free estimates.
Hi, could someone give the link to the Cash in the Attic show, which was presented by Jules Hudson? Many thanks!
Hi, could someone give me the link to the Cash in the Attic episode, presented by Jules Hudson as referred to in one of your comments? Many thanks!
A friend has a lot of stuff to get rid of some antique and some we are not sure about the value would be grateful if you could tell me how to get in touch with the show
I am trying to authenticate a rare NatWest pig that appeared on 'Cash in the Attic' in 2004(?) if anyone can help. It was a 'white' Sir Nathaniel pig that was given to a Wade employee. Any help much appreciated.

I See all these requests for Cash in the Attic to visit into homes for auction, but I can not see where you reply or give any information about actually getting on the show. Does anyone actually read these requests or are they just unanswered pleas? I am interested also but for months have not seen the information necessary. What gives?
I have a few things that I need valued. How do I contact an evaluator?
I love Cash in the Attic. How about updating the titles now that there are some different presenters? I'd love to see Jules Hudson in the titles. Some of the film used on the titles is very old, so how about some different pictures please?
How on earth does a valuer pronounce "Viscount" [when dealing with Nelson items] as the same as "Discount"? Where were these guys educated? [Today`s programme from Kent].
I just caught the end of one of the shows last week, and there was apicture of a pig, i think it had wings it was one pig in a rectangular frame on a blue background, it was sort of a drawing/cartoon, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas where i could purchase one like this, many thanks claire jenkins
Would someone PLEASE tell Lorne that the word 'lovely' is pronounced 'luvly' not lervly!
Please Please please , get rid of that stupid woman Agela Ripon, aall the family love the show, but that womans constant carping on when the auctioneer is selling is driving us all crackers, it as come to point when if she is on we switch over, she repeats what the sale as just gone for both to the sellers and us the audience, does she think we are all suffering from some form of dementia?. get rid then we will all be able to watch.
For the programme makers
On the CitA 09th December 09
Item: WWII gas mask.
WWII gas masks were usually made with ASBESTOS as an infill filter, may I suggest before even attempting to sell such a mask contact the HSE to make sure it is legal to sell these objects. As the infill can kill.

Re comment by Sahra Cohen about Angela Rippon. I simply cannot agree at all with what you said about Angela. She is a fine presenter with a great many years of experience. She doesn't talk any more than any of the other presenters do at the auction. It's their job, that's what presenters do. I can only think you have a personal dislike of her!
By the way, Paul Hayes is absolutely gorgeous!
For heaven's sake stop using Chiswick Auction Rooms - what a load of rubbish!! Their prices are awful.
Wednesday 16 December. Lorne was obviously on her way to appear in a pantomime today and went to the people's house already dressed in her costume! Lorne is a great presenter though and I like her, just teasing!
