Historical action drama. American Civil War veteran Nathan Algren is hired by the Emperor of Japan to train an army capable of quashing a rebellion by the last of the Samurai. But events take an unexpected turn when Nathan is captured by the enemy and finds his inner warrior being unleashed by the very people he was battling against. Which side will he choose when the time comes to fight?

High kicking high jinx and martial arts magic as Chinese teen Wendy Wu, whose only real ambition is to be homecoming queen, finds herself forced to use her newly-acquired skills to save the world from a kung fu statue monster. Brenda Song stars as Wendy the warrior, and we are treated to a dazzling display of martial arts, including the high-flying "wire fu" stunts popularised by films like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Wendy is a heroine in the mould of Buffy, a 21st century fighter for good. This great family film has humour, romance, adventure and above all, action.
