While patrolling the cemetery, Buffy is stabbed by a vampire with her own stake and then saved by Riley. The incident shakes her and so she decides to research how previous slayers were killed. However, she doesn't find any information in the watchers' journals and seeks the information from Spike instead. He describes his life before he became a vampire, how Drusilla sired him, and how Angel and Darla challenged him to kill a slayer.

Welcome to the Hellmouth. (Series 1, episode 1)
Buffy Summers is a 16 year old with a difference. When she moves to Sunnydale, she hangs out with Xander Harris, Willow Rosenberg and Jesse and the new school librarian, Giles, turns out to be Buffy's new watcher. Buffy investigates a dead body on her school campus, and to her horror realises the death was caused by vampires! Does Buffy realise that she will never get away from slaying? When on a night out at 'Bronze', Buffy is warned by a tall gorgeous guy, about the harvest season. Willow leaves with a vampire and Buffy and Xander follow them to the cemetery, where battle commences. Meanwhile Luke arrives and attacks Buffy, he then prepares to bite her neck, will he succeed?

Buffy escapes from Luke's hungry mouth but only thanks to a present Angel bought her. The master uses Jesse as a trap for Buffy. The mysterious gorgeous guy turns up again to warn Buffy, he introduces himself as Angel, he then tells her where she can go. Xander insists on going with Buffy. When they find Jesse he traps them in a room, will they ever escape? Buffy ends up getting grounded when she goes home to get supplies, will she ever make it to Bronze to win the fight? Finding Freebo. (Series 3, episode 2)
Dexter is desperate to find Freebo, the man he had intended to kill in the first place. He wants to find the man before his sister does, or before ADA Miguel Prado, who has revenge on his mind. Debra tries to identify someone she believes is Freebo's latest victim, and uses a fellow officer's confidential informant to get information. Prado isn't satisfied with the police investigation and is using telephone records to try and trace the man. Meanwhile, Rita's pregnancy is confirmed and she and Dexter must decide on the next step.
