The One with the Proposal (Part 1 of 2). (Series 6, episode 24)
Hilarious sitcom about six New Yorkers: Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey, and the funny situations they find themselves in. Chandler prepares to ask Monica to marry him by planning a very romantic meal at her favourite restaurant. Rachel invites Joey and Phoebe to her work's charity auction where Phoebe drinks far too much, and Joey thinks he's playing a 'Guess the Price!' game when the auction gets underway and is left with a bill for $20,000 and a yacht. Ross starts wondering whether his friends are right about the age gap between him and Elizabeth when he walks in on her and her friends having a water fight with the lads across the hall, and begins having doubts about the future of their relationship. Meanwhile back at the restaurant a surprise visitor walks in at the crucial point and ruins Chandler's plans. To regain the element of surprise in the proposal, Chandler then proceeds to make it perfectly obvious to Monica that he doesn't ever want to get married, but how will it all pan out, will Monica regain old feelings or will Chandler finally ask her the big question?
