Strait-laced mum Tess is a psychiatrist who has found her techniques don't work on her wayward daughter, while Anna is a rebellious teen who thinks her mum is boring. But now they are forced to see themselves through the other person's eyes, and it's a revelation. Laughter abounds as Anna counsels mum's patients while Tess must cope with school life and her daughter's amorous boyfriend. As if all that wasn't bad enough, Tess is due to get married on Saturday, so they need to get back to normal - and quickly!
