Theatre roles included 'Educating Rita', 'Three Sisters', 'What The Butler Saw', 'True Dare Kiss' and 'Murder Dear Watson' with Edward Woodward. Film roles included 'Closed Circuit', 'The Virgin' and Mike Leigh’s 'High Hopes'. Cheryl also appeared in many commercials working with directors such as Tony and Ridley Scott. Cheryl was nominated by Newspaper Critics as the most promising newcomer in the Theatre in 1981 for her appearance in 'The Round Dance'..
