    Dear Sirs etc.

Whenever an item comes up on AR with a name and date such as samplers or jugs as in last Sundays episode I always make a note and then search online.

The Jug on Sunday with the name Martha Swirl caught my imagination and searching on Ancestry.co. on the IGI I found Martha Swirls b 1879 at Hatcham Surrey- and another b 1850 at Bury, both on the 1881 Census.

Another on the International Genealogical Index (IGI)was Martha Ann

SwirlsChristened 29.12.1878 at All Saints Deptford and finally IGI North America Martha Swirl married 1.9.1795 Harrison Kentucky

I wonder if it would be possible for this research to be done at the time items are viewed so that a little more interest in the item would be generated possibly among descendants. The above information is available online within about 5 minutes.

Lastly would it be possible for your cameraman to linger slightly longer over labels and details of names and dates etc. It is not always possible to catch what is being shown in the two or three seconds normally spent.

We do enjoy the programme and like milions of others never miss.

    regards

    Brian Higgins

As a great, great neice, I would be extremely grateful if you could let me know how I could obtain a copy either by DVD or email. Thank you for your help.

I have a model of the bounty. Which from what I was told by my late grandmother was purchased by my Grandfather. He was informed by the person he bought it from that it was made from wood by a sailor on the bounty. Does anyone no how I could find out more and even get it valued. unfortunately it has no paper work with it.

I inherited a pair of black pressed glass vases from my grandma, they `look` Victorian or Victoriana, they have no stamps on but have some hand painted designs on them, I have no idea where to go to get a genuine valuation/appraisal on them but would love to know what they are.
