Watching the after effects of domestic violence unfold behind the door of No. 10 Brookside Close was one story that had a whole nation glued to its t.v. set for over three years.
Its characters come and go but the plots go further than some might expect, from euthanasia to incest - the public interest just keeps on coming. Often accused of being a "shock factor soap" the producers insist that if the public is prepared to deal with these issues on the news, they should be prepared to see it in its true light through drama.
Not one character has stayed from the beginning of the Scouse soap, but hundreds have lived in the ill-fated close.

I loved Brookside - I wish they hadn't pulled it. I once met Sue Jenkins (Jackie) and Vince Earl (Ron). He's a really nice guy and Sue's lovely as well.
I am an biggest fans of Brookie and I can not say how Excllant all the storylines are and yes Brookside are the biggest fans wanted this back on the DVD Its until one of our soaps Brookside never change and never forgotten Its until the best soaps on channel 4 its for people to love It I can not beleve Its going to happen It would be carry on if Brookside did not fishined to the end of all the episodes on the TV the DVD Is actually the good idea from to the start of Brookside bring It allback with all the episodes and storylines do me a fever to bring it all back Brookside you are the best
