Series 3, episode 2

Dawn French proves she can 'do sitcom' as well as her double-act partner Jennifer Saunders in the hit show from 'Four Weddings' writer Richard Curtis. Dozy Alice miraculously solves the problem of the Christmas show by proposing a promenading Nativity, in which she and Hugo will play Mary and Joseph. However, when her waters break mid-performance, she has to check with Geraldine whether she has actually given birth to the baby Jesus.
