American sitcom about a New York deputy mayor. Mike becomes a local hero when it appears that he saved a runaway pram in Central Park. But the real good Samaritan wants to keep his anonymity, and the press attention surrounding Mike's 'rescue mission' overshadows the mayor's announcement that he will run for another term. Meanwhile, Carter takes in his geriatric, suicidal family dog.
