JD's brother arrives with bad news; their father has died. Everyone on the ward unites to support JD and offer their condolences, but it's Dr Cox who JD looks to for support. Meanwhile, Turk experiences symptoms of diabetes, but is reticent to visit a doctor. Molly is called in to use some advanced psychology to force him to face the issue.
