When JD and Turk spend a boy's night out clubbing, JD falls for a bartender who seems fascinated by his profession and asks if she can visit him at the hospital. Unfortunately, she shows up with her boyfriend, who has a secret that JD struggles to keep. Meanwhile, Dr Cox anxiously awaits a basketball game but must tape it to watch after his shift. His patience is tested when the Janitor threatens to reveal the final score.
