Ben's reaction to the news that he has leukaemia is better than expected, but JD finds that his friendship with Ben complicates his professional view of the situation, and Dr Cox reacts fearfully to the news. Meanwhile, Turk's ego takes a knock when he isn't chosen to assist on a difficult surgery, and Elliot is given the opportunity to criticize Dr Kelso's work.
