J.D. falls for hospital social worker Alex when they are both assigned to a drug addict patient. But their relationship comes to a premature end when J.D. discovers Alex has been stealing prescription drugs from the hospital. Carla bonds with Dr Kelso, Turk discovers that Dr Cox has a crush on Carla, and J.D. and Elliot kiss.
