J.D.'s blind date Alex proves to be a pleasant surprise. After enjoying one date together, they plan to meet up again but J.D.'s heavy workload turns out to be an obstacle to their blossoming relationship. Meanwhile, Turk and Carla feel under pressure to consider their future together since declaring their love, which manifests itself in bed, and Dr Cox encourages the interns to find their confidence when faced with Dr Kelso.
