It's all systems go when the hospital is hit by an influx of new patients. Dr Cox uses the opportunity to set himself a challenge - not to lose any patients during his 12-hour shift. J.D. discovers a love interest when he accompanies hospital social worker Alex Hayden for an MRI scan after a hospital accident.
