Running Time: 30 minutes (approx)Produced by and starring Roseanne Barr, Roseanne follows the life of typical American family the Connors. Struggling with money and life problems seems to bring the Connors closer together rather than tear them apart but that doesn't mean they don't go through their rough patches. Mother and boss of the home and marriage is Roseanne, a strong confident woman with a quick sarcastic wit you'd kill for. Dan is the father, travelling from job to job whilst trying to build up his own motor-mechanic business. The Connors have three alternative children, eldest daughter Becky, middle daughter Darleene and youngest son DJ. Becky is your typical teenage daughter, interested only in boys and clothes but being a grade A student makes her want to rebel. Darleene is the tomboy. She loves baseball, drawing and tormenting her siblings (definately a chip off the old block). Little DJ slowly turns from a cute little kid to a slightly dark/geeky teenager but by Connor standards he's as normal as they come. Other characters include the sometimes over intrusive aunt jackie, the mad as a hatter grandmother Bev and their cruel gay boss Leon. This was the comedy show of the '80's and '90's with it's sarcastic humour and heart wrenching storylines, this is definately a show for everyone. Main CastStill looking for more?
