The second series of the classic comedy starring Ronnie Barker as Fletch. 'Porridge' is slang for a jail sentence and habitual offender Norman Stanley Fletcher is doing five years of it. He whiles away the time sharing his wealth of experience with his fellow inmates, particularly naive, young first-timer Lennie, whom Fletch takes under his fatherly wing. Godber is training for a boxing match representing his wing and Grouty has asked Fletch to fix the fight by asking Godber to take a dive. Unfortunately Godber has already agreed to do this for a rival of Grouty's.
