Sydney (James Bolam) and Danny (Matt Bardock) work as attendants in an underground car park. The sitcom, which ran for just one series, focuses mainly on the banter between the pair as they muse on the meaning of life. Sydney can mostly be found talking about past times with his wife Maureen, who does not appear in the show, whilst Danny talks about women in general.

Other characters include their straight-laced boss, Miss Cummings who does not share their sense of humour, and a traffic warden called Adolf who likes to think of himself as a political activist.
