Oliver Beene is a half-hour comedy series following the offbeat adventures of 11-year-old Oliver (Grant Rosenmeyer) and his misfit family. Set in Queens, New York, during the 60s, the show depicts life in the Cold War era with dry humour and a pinch of the ridiculous. The series is narrated by the adult Oliver (David Cross) who describes life in the Kennedy years in comic detail. Also starring Grant Shaud as dad Jerry, Wendy Makkena as mum Charlotte, Andrew Lawrence as Oliver's brother Ted, Annie Korzen as Mrs Heller, Amy Castle as Bonnie and Ben Bookbinder and Taylor Emerson as Oliver's buddies Neal and Michael.
