Her assistant, Maya (Golden Brooks) classes herself as "Miss Ghetto Superstar," whose slang is ridiculed by the others. Toni (Jill Jones) is a real estate tigress who wears jungle prints. And Lynn (Persia White), their hazy permanent-student pal. WHTS GOING ON?? WHEN CAN A SISTA GET A NEW EPISODE OD GIRLFRIENDS?
I just heard Girlfriends is being cancelled. Why? I finally have something on tv that I can relate to. It incomposses many aspects of my girlfriends and I. It is one of the better sitcoms on t.v. There are very few sitcoms with all black cast in which we are educated, witty, productive, to say the least and now they want to take it away from us. I will protest the station if Girlfriends is not renewed.
I recently heard that girlfriends will be cancelled. WHY? This is one of my favorite shows. I watch every episode and I love the new ones except that Jill Jones(Toni) is not on. Why did she leave the show? Is she going to be returning if the show stays on the air? I think the show should continue to air because I know alot of people that watch and are really into this top rated show.
Does Joan end up with William?? And also I cannot keep up with the pisodes on trouble, one minute it is the recent series then it goes back to the old series.
i was devasted when i heard that the show was recently cancelled. That is one of my favourite black sitcoms. Those girls are all talented actresses and I just love william and darnyl (did I spell that correctly?)Their acting was sooo believable... It was a love hate sort of thing at times
