Joey develops an unusual acting method in order to impress a famous, pompous fellow actor during an audition for an important stage role. Meanwhile, Ross is horrified to discover who mugged him when he was a child. And an unemployed and humbled Chandler accepts a job at a shoe company where the young employees make him feel extremely old.
