Joey arranges that by all the men in the group kissing one of the girls, Monica and Chandler will be able to have a New Years Eve kiss. When the gang make their resolutions we find that Ross plans to do a new thing everyday, Chandler promises not to take the mickey out of his friends - for at least a week. Joey plans to learn to play the guitar, Rachel will try not to gossip, Monica wants to take more photo's of the gang and Phoebe wants to fly a commercial plane. Later we see Ross getting rather hot on a date in his new leather trousers and ends up in a rather embarrassing situation. Joey learns guitar from Phoebe which turns out to be an experience in itself. Rachel finds it incredibly hard not to tell anyone when she finds out about Monica and Chandler. Meanwhile Chandler just can't keep his wisecracks to himself.
