On St Valentine's Day, Ross meets his ex-wife and her lover, while on his first date in nine years. When Susan leaves to answer a call from the hospital Ross spends so much time speaking to his ex that he doesn't notice his date leave. Chandler goes on a blind date and finds the woman is Janice, who has bought him Candy Hearts. Meanwhile, Monica, Rachel and Phoebe rebel by burning mementos of past relationships, however the fire gets a little out of control and the apartment is suddenly filled with gorgeous firemen.
