Fawlty Towers

Running Time: 30 minutes (approx)

It was while filming for Monty Python's Flying Circus in 1971 that John Cleese and the rest of the team chanced to stay at the Torquay hotel which would inspire him to create Fawlty Towers.

The Pythons only stayed a night, but John Cleese (who found the manager "wonderfully rude") kept the manager and his domineering wife in mind, and wrote them into an episode of "Doctor in Charge".
