Comedy god Geoffrey Palmer, fresh from 'Reggie Perrin', teams up with Wendy Craig for the family sitcom that ventured into some unusually dark areas. Ben believes that the stresses imposed by family life have damaged his health. Although his doctor assures him that a little more exercise will cure him, he is convinced he is a candidate for a heart attack.
