Dr Roberts brings a freshness, enthusiasm and professionlism to this fascinating subject. A much better role model for girls than any of the other young women our media chiefs serve up to us

Alice is proof that good looks and brains can go together

We are really enjoying this programme, true it can be a bit slow and could do with better editing but Alice's theories and enthusiasm make this show unmissable. Alice is such an excellent role model for young women. Looking forward to the Australian Journey next week

Generally I enjoyed the series although I agree with another comment Alice's delivery was a bit slow in coming to the main point.Another observation is that as well as providing an informative account of paleo-anthropological history of African migration around the world she seemed to be geniuinely enjoying the experience of travelling and meeting different tribes. One point I'd like to make is I thought the date of the African migration in question went back to 100.000 yrs ago and not 70.000 yrs ago as seen by finds in modern day Israel like the Skuel site.
