Mulder soon comes to the conclusion that his death is the result of witchcraft, to which Scully surprisingly agrees with. When the doctor's wife is killed in an MRI scanner with the words 'Theef' branded into her chest he tells them of a man who confronted him about a girl he had try to save after an accident, but failed. It soon becomes apparent that the man is the father of the girl who died and he is using hex dolls to wreak his revenge.
