Paranormal drama series. When a young girl is kidnapped from her home, Lucy Householder, who is 20 miles away, experiences an empathic transference and mysteriously utters the kidnapper's words. Mulder suspects there is a psychic link between Lucy and the victim and tries to persuade her to help in the search for the girl. But Scully insists that Lucy knows more than she is telling.
