David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Mitch Pileggi, Floyd 'Red Crow' Westerman, William B Davis, Melinda McGraw. Two FBI Agents' terrifying investigations into the paranormal. This first episode of the third series continues from the cliff-hanger ending of series two. Scully discovers that even those nearest to her have betrayed her as she faces dismissal from the FBI. A manhunt ensues for Mulder as the Cigarette Smoking Man tries desperately to track down the missing tape. Scully continues her own search - but has to pay a terrible price.
