Drama series about two FBI agents who investigate the paranormal. Eugene Tooms, a supernatural killer whom Mulder helped to imprison, is released on parole, despite Mulder's protestations that he must be kept under lock and key at all costs. A deadly game of cat-and-mouse begins with his old rival - who eats human livers, hibernates for up to 30 years and is capable of elongating his body to escape detection.
