Cassandra, adopted daughter of Janet Fraiser, turns 16 and develops telekinetic powers that threaten her health. The search for a cure sends SG1 back to the planet of her birth for information on the Renegade System Lord Nirti's genetic experiments. However, when they return to the SGC they bring with them an unwelcome visitor who may hold the cure to Cassandra's illness.
