When SG-1 stumble across a Goa'uld tomb, Daniel sees one of the corpses is holding a tablet but when he touches it he is infected with a parasite that makes him hear the voices of the dead Ma'chello and starts having visions which is mistaken as schizophrenia. This interference soon transfers onto Teal'c. When leaving Daniel, the voice declares death to the Goa'uld on which he realizes that Teal'c is in serious danger as the parasite is Ma'chello's Goa'uld killing parasite. When the team study the tablet to find a cure, the parasites infect the whole team bar, Carter. Fraiser and O'Neill deteriorate rapidly and Hammond has no choice but to place the three in quarantine.
