Thor helps negotiate a peace deal with the Goa'ulds when it comes to light that the Goa'uld System Lords are planning to launch an attack on Earth. Three System Lords attend these negotiations, Yu, Nirrti, and Cronos. Initially the group agree to the peace proposal on the condition that Earth gives up the Stargate, however all is not well and the Lord's turn on their decision when they think Teal'c beat up Cronos. Carter manages to save Cronos' life. Yu and Cronos soon realize that it was in fact Nirrti who beat up Cronos so as to gain more power.
