SG-1 are invited to take part in 'Triad', an ancient Ceremony of Justice, where their friend, Skaara (Klorel's host), is on trial. They find out that Klorel was injured in a crash allowing Skaara to emerge and request amnesty. The Triad has been called to determine which of the two personalities will live and which will die and its up to Daniel and O'Neill to fight for Skaara while Zipacna (a Goa'uld) fights for Klorel. Teal'c and Carter became more and more suspicious over Zipacna's motives but when they voice these opinions to the Tollan leaders, it jeopardizes Skaara's identity.
