SG-1 travel to P7J989. Here they discover a beautiful garden and a dome full of strange metal chambers containing sleeping people. On inspection of this area the team are trapped and knocked unconscious. When they awake they find themselves locked in a crucial topic that they have once come across and having to change the result. A figure approaches them and introduces himself as The Keeper who informs each of them that they are in a game that feeds memories into a virtual reality for the amusement of his residents who have to be in these chambers because he has told them that the planet was so polluted that they couldn't live on it anymore. However the team threaten to tell the people of his lies and he vows to tell them the truth - but will he?
