When SG-1 try to defend the chap they discover that he is, in fact, a murderer on the run from Justice (Taldor) and in defending him they are sent to a penal planet called Hadante for the crime of illegally harbouring a felon. The teams only hope of escape lies with a woman called Linea who has the ability to power the Stargate with her cold fusion power source. If she manages to rescue the team they promise to free her.
