O'Neill finds himself in a futuristic version of Stargate Command and is told that he has been cryogenically frozen for 79 years and the rest of SG-1 are dead. He is then questioned about ways to defeat the Goa'uld as Earth is now at war with this vicious race. However, when O'Neill overhears Goa'uld voices he realizes that everything he has experienced is fake and he escapes the building. On doing so he sees that the Stargate Command he was being held in was in fact a replica within a Goa'uld ship and the rest of the team are going through a similar ordeal. During their escape Hathor threatens to implant a larvae in one of them but will he succeed.
