SG-1 are sent back in time to 1969, landing in a top-secret military facility. Carter, who is carrying a letter from Hammond, is searched by a Lieutenant who is astounded by the letter's contents. While the team are being transported to more intereviews, the Lieutenant aids their escape and tells the team that he is Hammond. Desperate to return to their own time the team search for the Stargate. On their travels they meet some hippies who take great pleasure in helping the 'fugitives' in their quest. Will they find the Stargate before their chance of leaving the past is lost for good?
