The SG-1 team visit the planet P3X797 which is divided between a dark and light side, with their own populations, the Touched, the brutal primitives who live on the dark side, and the Untouched, Bronze Age civilization who live on the bright side. On the teams return to base they discover that more and more team members are transforming into the Touched which soon results in the projects slow decline, due to the Touched lack of intelligence. Jackson and Teal'c return to P3X797 to discover what is happening to their colleagues, but will they be able to discover the reasons before it's too late.
