Preceding the closure of the Stargate project, SG-1 defy all orders and make a trip to the origin of the attack (so they think!). However they find themselves on a Goa'uld ship filled with the Jaffa who are currently travelling through space. Unfortunately the team soon discover that the Stargate on the ship doesn't connect with the one on Earth any more and the team find themselves trapped on the ship. While Daniel and Carter rig the ship with powerful explosives, O'Neill and Teal'c find the body of a young Abydonian (Skaara) friend of O'Neill's who is now host to the son of Apophis. Now the future of the teams survival depends on whether Skaara's human spirit is still alive or not.
