Sci-fi drama series. Dr Helen Magnus carries on her father's work to provide sanctuary for the strange and often terrifying creatures that secretly populate our world and recruits a team to study them. While desperately searching for Magnus's daughter Ashley, who remains in the hands of the Cabal, the Sanctuary team encounter smooth-talking con artist Kate Freelander. Wounded after a violent clash with Cabal agents, Kate gives Magnus the location of a secret facility that may lead them to Ashley.
