Science-fiction romance drama based on a short story by John Wyndham. Colin Trafford, a disenchanted research physicist, is knocked unconscious when an experiment with a particle accelerator goes wrong and, when he awakes, he finds himself in the bedroom of a house he has never seen before - a house he quickly learns is in a parallel world. Here, he finds he has another life, similar in some ways to his own, but in others is wildly different.
