Sci-fi drama series. Time-trapped scientist Sam Beckett leaps into the body of an ageing TV newsreader whose flagging viewing figures have received a boost since a serial killer has taken to tipping him off about his latest victim. When Al reveals that a psychic is next on the list, Sam sets out to confront fate and trap the killer.
