When an inexplicable force draws the TARDIS to an old priory in the year 1911, Sarah and the Doctor find a sinister Egyptian summoning the awful power of an ancient god. An Egyptianologist Scarman has been possessed by an Osirman called Sutek who is imprisoned in a pyramid controlled by someone transmitting a signal from Mars. He gets Scarman to build a missile with the view to destroying the planet - but the Doctor has other ideas.
