Production Year: 2000

Created by James Cameron, who is also executive producer, Dark Angel represents the Oscar-winner's first foray into television.

In the year 2019, the US has become a Third World country in the wake of The Pulse - an electromagnetic shockwave released by nuclear terrorists ten years previously. A shadowy figure moves through the city streets - she is the genetically enhanced Max, and her world is an unforgiving place.

Having escaped from the military compound where she was held captive when she was just a child, the young Max is now on the run from her creators and constantly in search of her past, cutting a lonely figure until she joins forces with the idealistic cyberjounalist, Logan Cale.
