Futuristic series about an alien working with the Los Angeles police. When several Newcomers die after undergoing minor surgery, Sikes and George are assigned to the case. Their investigations lead them to believe that doctors are removing a gland from the Newcomers which, when transplanted into humans, makes the hosts live longer.
