    This is an appalling programme. I've rarely seen such a lot of unscientific, unsubstantiated nonsense since Gillian McKeith was allowed to pollute our televisions. The whole idea of detox has been shown to nothing more than a marketing tool for quack based products. I suggest anyone who feels themselves believing this stuff should pay a visit to the Sense about Science website.

    I HAVE DONE THE HOME COLONIC AND FOUND IT TO BE VERY BENEFICAL FOR MY IBS, ECZEMA AND FLATULENCE, IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW WE ALL REACT TO THINGS AND NOT EVERYONE WILL GET ON WITH IT.... AND NO-ONE CAN HEAL FOR DEF WITH JUST A PRAYER, ITS JUST A SCAM..

    Detoxing does work. I did a juice detox. I had loads of hanging bits of skin on my neck, a bit like long warts, caused by sun damage I believe. After a week of detox, they started to subside and shortly after that disappeared. I had them for about 20 years, not a coincidence i'm sure. The body is a master at cleansing itself, but like a slow running sink, it sometimes needs a cleanse through to get it flowing properly itself.
