Hi - i would like to recommend my girlfriend (her son wants to also) for a makeover as she recently lost 6 stone, then gave up smoking and put 2 stone back on, now she has lost a stone of that and is struggling to accept her body with all the loose skin and final little bits of 'fat' that she just cant get rid of. Her confidence is pretty low over it and she wont wear pretty clothes she brought as she thinks she looks too flabby! please help!

i would love to appear on the show,ive been mesmerised since i saw the first american version of the show.i hate having photos taken as i think i look ugly in all of them.i hate my teeth,my nose,my chin,my lack of breats especially since ive had my 5 children ,they just sag what there is of them.and i just cant seem to shift the extra fat around my bum tummy and thighs,im desperate to have more confidence but dont think i ever will while im not happy with the way i look,it holds me back from doing lots of things yours sincerely carla x

This is for my mum, for a while now she has just let go of herself, things at home got really bad. I have never seen someone so depressed before and it kills knowing she isnt happy. It puts the whole family down. If she had this makeover i know it would change her world completely and put the smile back on her face. I hate that I am having to plead for this myself, but nobody knows how I feel because I keep it from everyone. My partner has a small idea of how I feel about my body, but still he is nowhere close. I am only 24, I have no children, yet my body looks like I have had 4!, My stomach hangs in disgusting spare tyre folds. I have made an attempt to loose this extra weight before, but gave up as my body shape persisted. I hate those women who complain that they are struggling to get back into their size 10 jeans.... at least they have had them! I have never been slender, always been the fat girl, and I am sick of the ridicule. on top of that I feel I have an oversized nose that makes me look like miss piggy.... you can imagine why that adds insult to injury. All I need is for someone to help motivate me to loose weight, and know that the end result will be a flat stomach... a sight I have never seem on myself, I therefore don't think possible. Please help me. I just want to be me without this holding me back. oh god, I'm in floods of tears just writing this. please, please, please help me.

Hi, i want to put my mum forward for an extream make over. my mum had a gastric band fitted 2 yrs ago, and has lost alot of weight. but even with the weight loss she now has exces skin, and still isn't happy. my mum is the most amazing woman, she doesn't just help me but also does alot of resue work for animals, and works with alot of troubled teens, for free in her own time, if i could afford to pay for a makeover i'd do it tomorow. please consider my mum for the next series it would change her life.

Hi, Extreme Makeover UK, I love your show since discovering it on Living 2. Every time I watch it I'm amazed at the transformations you do, and sit there gobsmacked at the results at the end! I would dearly love to appear on the show and experience the dream I could never imagine coming true, of just having my body sorted out, so that I don't have to hide it away no more. I'm a busy single mum, always exhausted with no time to myself. I would love to have the confidence and self esteem to face the world. After years of bullying at school and being very withdrawn and shy, I've always hated my image and especially after having my 4 children, and 2 traumatic relationships since I turned 18, (I'm 49), my mind as well as my body have both been abused to the limit. I carry the emotional scars every day. My daughter would tell you how much this has affected my confidence and she also has very deep mental and physical issues. Maybe you could do a double! A mother and daughter feature, were it possible, but maybe It's asking too much?
Oh the joy at being able to wear clothes without having to tuck all the loose skin away, the embarrassment is too much to bear, for me too. (there's no escape in a bikini) is at the top of my dreamlist.Friends say I look fine, but they can't read my mind to know how ugly I feel inside.

Not sure if i'm going about this the correct way but i'm hoping someone will read & consider my request for my mother to have the life changing experience of an extreme makeover on behalf of this amazing show. I wont go into to much detail on this message board but basically after having my sister she suffered cervical cancer age 24!!! My mother is now 45 this year and is still deeply effected by the way her body has been left due to going through the menapause so young, she had breast reduction as it made her boobs huge and she suffered awful back aches, it made her job difficult working in a childrens hospice. The reduction left her with awful shape breasts and this had added to her upset about her body. My mother is such an amazing beautiful person that brings joy to everyone she meets I just want her to feel as beautiful as we all know she is. Hi there my name is leah and my mams name is Catherine, she is coming up to 38years of age, my mam always runs herself down and passes judgment about herself, since my father left us 3 years ago life hsnt been easy for mam. She takes care of myself and my 5 other brothers and sisters and my sister younger to me is Autustic, and it puts high dmands on mam, she always puts us first and others but never herself. mam has a big heart she never goes a day with out doing from her heart towards us and her peers. me and my partner have recently got engaged and plan to get married in 2010 hopefully in Florida. We were only knew each other for 6 weeks when he proposed and i couln't be happier. we get on so well but i have a major issue with my body, i feel i am fat and ugly and often question why he wants me, which as you can imagine causes arguments. i do try but i am very body conscious and paranoid about what he is thinking. i can't wait to get married but am very scared about going someone hot and wearing a bikini. my name is jennifer and i would love to help my best buddy alex.She is a loving, caring and understanding person who is always there for others in any way you can imagine she would bend over sideways just to make others around her feel good or to help themout of a difficult situation.However as her closest pal i know what really goes on behind closed doors, she gets so depressed that she does not go out she hides berself behind huge tshirts on account of the fact that she is carrying around boobs that are a 34L is 5 foot 6 her bottom half can fit into a size 10 easy.
She has been waiting for over 6 years for a breast reduction but as she continues to wait she spirals deeper and deeper into a pit of seclusion.
when she tries to go shopping she ends up in shops that stock sizes 20-34 because that is all she can wear on her top half,her breast are so big that she constantly has back pains and feels too unattractive to even wear clothes that a 23 year old woman should wear. She finds it difficult to be in a crowd or to even do simple things like go to the beach/swimming pool, her confidence and self esteem is below zero she doesn't even have the confidence to go out on dates all because she cant stay out too long because her boobs are so heavy.Besides all of this she puts on a brave face and ploughs on through life sliently suffering,please HELP.

i would like to put my mum forward for this because i think she deserves it. my mum was the perfect 39yearold, size 6, beautiful, trendy mum who was always smiling and happy. but that all changed when she had to have an operation, which stopped her from excersising resulting in her gaining weight. when she was better she lost the weight, however she was then in a car crash and suffered severe whiplash which has taken years to overcome and resulted in her body and face looking aged and neglected. even through all this she has still been a wonderful mum but shes not the energetic,bubbley,charesmatic person she was before and i know my mum has all the potential to look like she did in her younger years but simply doesnt know where to start, and i want to give her the help she deserves.

i would like to put myself forward for an extreme makeover. 9 years ago i was 26 stone and had to have medication to help me have children which did not help my weight. ihad a daughter and lost her 14 hours after i had her which was hard and turned to food.
a year later i tried the medication again and had a daughter who is now twelve. my first marriage did not work out and we divorced.When i left my husband i lost 13 stone and i also met my second husband and managed to get pregnant again without medication. Then things a bit wrong i went into labour 5 weeks early and was very close to losing my life and the baby luckly we both servived and now our son is 7 years old.I had to have him by emergancy cecerian and hystarectomy at the age of 33 which i delt with. i have now got down to 15 stone 11lb but have a hanging tummy none of my clthes fit right and in hot weather it really makes my scare sore can you please help. yours hopefully mandy

i would like to put my mum and my nan forward, for half of last year my mum was constanly sick and in pain, she was rushed to A&E to be told shehad constipation. little did she know that was just the beginning of a very tough journey for her. after months of pain, last october my mum was taken into hospital with kidney failure and was seriously sick, after being kept in for a week and haveing an operation to put stents in her tubes she was told that th reason she was in so much pain was because her bowel had perferated and miraculously it had healed over, the only problem was that she would have to have a big part of her bowel removed and have a colostomy bag. so the next day she went under the knife and woke up in excruciating pain, they had to stop halfway through and re-schedule because she lost too much blood. she went through pain s strong that she was on a high dose of morphine for a week, eventually the time came when she had the second part of the procedure, it was sucsessful but she was in recovrey for 7 hours, when i finally went to visit her she looked awful, she was hooked up to lots of different machines and was being given blood. she was in the hospital in pain for a further 2 weeks before she was allowed home. but that wasnt the last of it, she had to go back just beofre christmas and have her scar opened up again and have slightly more taken out. she was in hospital for 2 and a half weeks this time. my mum is a very strong woman but because of the pain she has been in she has put on weight because she cant excercise. the effect of the illness have taken their toll on her face and to knock her confidence even more she has been left with a bag on the outside of her stomache and a 30cm long 1c thick scar. my mum has lost all her body confidence and i really feel that this would make her the most confident woman ever. i also nominate my nan as she looked after me through this hard time and was strong for me, even when she felt like breaking down she put on a brave face just to keep me at ease.
my mum and my nan are my hero's, to see my mum in a hospital bed, having death scare 3 times is just awful. and to see my nan putting on a smile when she knows her daughter could die, just to keep me strong is admirable. these women are my heros and i could not fault them in any way, i 16, and nearly loosing my mum when i was 15 was the scariest thing in the world. i just want to bring my mum the confidence and body happiness she deserves and i want to say thank you to my nan by making her happy with herself.

i would like to put my dad forward, because when i was only 7/8 my mother left me and my 4 sisers and my 2 brothers, my dad has looked after us and brought us up to the best of his ability, i was born in leeds but my dad realised that he didnt want us to be brought up there as he had a bad upbringing he got into alot of trouble and didnt want us to get into the same kind of trouble, so he sold everything he had and although it wasnt much he, used the money to move to scarborough which 6 years after we moved to whitby for a bigger house he just wanted the best for us and now he has 10 children me being the oldest girl 18 now with 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother and 6 younger sisters, bringing us all up has taken it out of my father and he believes that he is old at 46 but believes he looks older and with all the stress hes been under it has had a big effect on him, i just want to give him confident so he can be proud of what he has done but also look good so he can feel good. my dad is the best dad ever

Hi, I would like to try and put my husband foward for one of your shows. He has been through quite a lot and he is on 37. He lost the mojority of his teeth when he was in his teens but never gives a proper smile, we have been through alot with mis-carriages from pragnancies and he also went through a bad divorce.
What with his extreme work load and low self esteem I think he would be a good candidate. He is only 37 but looks a lot older. One of his parents even turned round and said he looks as old as grandad when he died and he was 95, I think he was vastly overdoing it a bit there. As I said, what with all of this playing on this play on his mind and and his heavy workload he also now suffers from panic attacks.
I think this sort of thing could be the lift he needs. He does look very tired with bags under his eyes that make him look really old.

Hi my name is Donna,and I am 32 years old. I would like to put myself forward for the show. I have always had weight problems since I can remember. Finally when I was 31 years old i did something about it. I went on a diet and exercised, and from the hard work I lost 5 stones. You would think i would be happy but I am not. I still think I am fat and it is even worse than before because I have got some loose skin on my tummy and boobs now. Most of the time I think why did I bother. I have tried all different exercises. hi i was just wondering when you are next casting for extreme makeover. I'm nearly 23 and i know i may seem young to be putting myself forward for this sort of thing. I had my 1st child at 17 and my 2nd at 21 i work full time and also study at university and while all my frineds are out and about i never go any way as i don't have the confidence as i hate the way i look and cant stand my body, my partner says i look fine but as a young mother i really don't feel it and just want the confidence to even try clothes on as i don't even like to go clothes shopping. I am trying to lose weight and so far have lost a stone and a half but stillhave a long way to go. Im 34, divorced mother of 2 who was working full time up until being made redundant 8 weeks ago.
I like most of the female population am unhappy with my personal appearance. Mainly due to weight that appears to be a constant battle. I have every pill n potion available in my cupboard and have tried everything from the Atkins diet to the Maple Syrup diet. It simply seems that the family genes I have unable this weight to budge. I have a 36G, which I quite like but my flabby tummy from giving birth and my tree trunk legs that stop me from every wearing skirts/shorts or simply buying some knee high boots, which i desperatley want, make me down right depressed and low of self asteem. I had a bad youth in 3 ways, which I would not rather disclose on here right now, a divorce from my 15yr partner, leaving me to bring up a then 1 & 2 yr old and giving me no choice but to return to work full time to pay off his £35,000 debt and now looking at loosing all that I've worked for due to redundancy and my new partner who struggles bringing up someone elses children & isnt very forthcoming with compliments, I of course am fighting with my thoughts and concluding that a happier more confident me, could help me live the life, I so desperatley deserve & desire. hi my friend kay is 47 and is very badly depressed she left school at 12 yrs old to look after her disabled mother she comes from a family of 12 and all responsibility was left on her shoulders at an eartly age she had to become a woman overnight . she met her boyfriend at 14 and fell pregnant at the young age of 15 and got married at 16 whilst still caring for her sick mother and father all her other siblings left home and set out on their new lives but kay remained on at the homestead struggling to cope on a daily basis she had a very unstable married life and after a further two children and suffering 10 unhappy married years her marriage fell apart still continuing to care for her mother as father was now deceased kay lived from one day rolling into another depressed and sad at having no control over her destiny. Sadly four years ago kays mum passed away and kay has not been able to take a hold on her life as she feels her mother was all she knew and lived for each day, now she feels she has no purpose in life as an overweight mother, grandmother and friend to all. i feel she is very deserving of an extreme makeover i know she will then feel her purpose in life as a beautiful woman that she is to all, i see her beauty within and she now needs to see her inner beauty glow through to the outside.i implore on you to consider kay as a candidate for an extreme makeover i just know she is well deserving of this. thanking you denise

Ive read alot of the comments by people who want to be on the show and I feel insignificant compared to some peoples story but it would mean the world to me if I could appear on the show.Im 25 year old house wife with Three kids, i watch the show all the time thinking what I would give to be on the show. Since having my kids which all weighed 9lb and over at birth its ruined my body and my life its affected my confidence and my re;ationship its also put me off having sex because i dont like my partner seeing my body.I cant look at myself in the mirror and I dont like going out with my family because I dont want to embarass them. The fact that so many people have blogged and so many others pray, including myself, for the opportunity to have some of our imperfections corrected to give us the confidence to lead a more confident and happy lives must show how important and popular the programme is. i was 22 years old when i had my daughter she was 8 wks premature due to complications in my pregnacie which was
i had gan green in my gal bladder so had to have it removed and my daughter delivered the same day!! i had a emergency c section but i never had a straight forward c section on my bikini line like most women i was cut from just below my chest bone straight down to my bikini line!!! 10 days after op my wond burst open but could not be restiched as it was healing wrong and i went through a long painful period of having my wond packed and cleaned every day till it heald but unfortuntly it looks horiffing i hate my body i suffed with pnd after my daughter because of the stress of my op plus how i look and feel and want to gain my self cofidents back but ive tryed going to gym but my mucsels on my stomach dont responed well to extreme excersie and im at a loss and well dieting that just dose not help !!!

The reason why I would nominate her for an extreme makeover is because she has had her fair share in life. She has raised 7beautiful kids ans still have 2 in school. She has always dreamed that she could be made a supermodel, as for when she was younger her mother never taught her how to look after her skin and when she came to realise that it was too late. Hello my name is Carol I'm 29 years of age.
I have a port wine stain on the left side of my face since birth and have no confidence or looks and a very low self a steem. I always feel that people are looking at that horrible pink birth-mark on my face.
I find it very hard to meet people when I go out with my friends because I don't feel that i have any looks and haven't got the guts to put on make-up to cover my birth mark.

he's all that I want in my life. My Steph is turning to be 36 soon and he's been feeling down about his lifestyle especially. Due to his hardwork in today's wokring climate he hasnt had much time to look after himself in his eating habits and his pleasure time is not fullfiled the way we'd love to. I have moved over to Britain after 8 months wed tried to live seperate in two different countries however we missed each other greatly. However, things are not always as we want them to be and now us being together now we are struggling to enjoy ourselfs as there are so many things on his and my mind about our lifestyle that causes us going apart. I see his self-confidence disappeared a big time since I met him first time and I just want him to bring it all back and feel great about himself.

Hello my name is Ruth and since having my third child weighing at 10lb 10oz I have lost all my confidence as my stomach has not gone down at all. I have lost 2 stone in weight and I work really hard at the gym but nothing works for my stomach. It saggs and has cellulite all over it. We have 3 amazing kids and she feels that it has taken its toll on her figure and features. I am a 48 year old mother of 3 with 8 young grand children. I am in DESPERATE need of a make over.I am becoming so repressed about the way I look. You can hardly see my eyes through the extra skin around them, and when I pull the extra skin my eyes feel so much better, more relaxed. I have to wear glasses and my eye sight appears to be getting worse all the time. Gravity is not helping mt joles and my neck. I went deaf in my one ear over night and nobody knows what caused it , maybe a virus I'm told. My teeth are extremely wobbly through severe gum deasease and my dentist and I are trying to hold on to them for as long as possible although she did say she would pull them out if I wanted her to. You would think I was about to give birth if I didn't look so old with the size of my stomach. I have in the last year i have lost just under 6 stone which has really taken it's toll on my body and I am really really desperate for an extreme makeover I am only 23 and fed up of hiding behind baggy clothes i have worked really hard to lose this weight but because of my breasts tummy and upper arms still feel i have to hide behind my larger clothes.

Hello, please help me I'm 55 yrs old (maybe too old for your show) like most of the people that have written to you I'm not happy with the way I look. I have suffered with spots for years and after having 2 caesarean sections and hysterectomy my stomach is very flabby. I have had veins showing in my legs since I was 13 and have always felt very self-conscious them. I must be honest, my face, considering my age is not too bad I have tried to look after my skin over the years. It was conducted by a team of two doctors, doing breast enlargements, tummy liposuction, bletharoplasty, and tummy tuck all within 6 hours and one of the doctors had a cold. Granted the patient will likely be well-dosed with antibiotics, but they will not prevent a viral infection which could severely impede healing--especially of the facial and eye tissue.

She will be 25 in Feb 09 and since Jan 08 till Oct 08 she has lost 8 stones in weight, going down from a size 24 to size 12!! Claire fell into a deep depression when her Father died in 1997 when Claire was only 14 and her Dad was 32. Hi my name is Karon the past nine years have been extrememly difficult for me and have taken their toll on my body and my confidence. It all started when I was pregnant with my second child, having placenta previa there was a lot of complications eventually after an early and long labour and several units of blood transfusing I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl who sadly passed away two days later leaving myself and family broken hearted. Since I have suffered a further 4 miscarriages and been diagnosed with breast cancer. I underwent a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy and then when I was on the mend I was diagnosed with the BRCA1 gene. I then had to have a radical double mastectomy and several operations to reconstruct my breasts. Due to the scars from my daughters birth, which go from my belly button down, I have an ugly strethched stomach which is a constant reminder of what I have lost. I am 37 years old and an extreme makeover would be lifechanging for me to start the next decade afresh and confient person as I currently do not recognise myself. Hi I'm a 37 year old mum of 2 and have been unhappy with my body since I was young,I went through school being bullied and I have struggled with my weight all my life I have always had unsightly breasts stomach and thighs. Since having my 2 children I have had a hysterectomy at the age if 30. one instance recently I was on holiday with my family and was laughed at by kids in the swimming pool, looking at me underwater, my confidence is gone and I don't like my partner to see me undress. It has been my dream for years to wear normal clothes and feel comfortable in what I wear. As much as wearing a pair of trousers with slim legs with a top that doesn't try and hide my bust.I want to be able to go shopping and come home with the things that really do suit me. This would mean so much to me to be given this chance, it would give me the confidence I need to get on with my life and make me the person I am supposed to be!

The reason being she was an alcholic for many years to the point where she nearly died, it was then that she decided to turn her life around and quit the drink. That was 2years ago now and she is finally getting her life back. The family and i are so proud of her and her efforts as it has not been easy. Hello im writing on behalf of my sister Jackie. She is a 42 year old widow who desperatly needs help. After many years of physical and mental abuse from her husband and being left on her own struggling to bring up 3 young boys lets just say age really isnt on her side. From the abuse from her husband and after being called fat and ugly she has suffered from balemia, this has left her having hardly no teeth and ruined her body completly. From all the stress in her life she has had 2 miscarriges and 2 stil births. She has no self esteem and wont go out because she feels to ugly and embarrassed what people will think of her. She is a 42 year old woman living in a 60 year olds body. Her disesed husband put her through so much, things that i cant even begin to write because they really are to disgusting. To top it all off her eldest son aged 19 has recently been shot and ended up in hospital. Her life was hard enough after growing up being part of a family of 14 kids. Her father passed away when she was just 10 years old which left her mum to bring them all up alone and meant it was hard work for all of them. Jackie would do anything for anyone and i just feel it is time something is done for her. You must have heard of the saying "from hell and back" wel she has never came back.I feel being on extreme make over will change her life completly, for the best of course. She will have the confidance to go out and meet people, she will take more care of herself rather than running herself into the ground, It will give her a complete confidance boost and improve her life completly. Wow where do I start?! The beginning I guess. I must start by saying what a wonderful caring and loving person my mum is.
After giving birth to four children who have all grown up now, and have their own lives, my mum worked all her life until my dad had a really serious accident. His pelvis was broken in 24 places and he was on the operating table for 12 hours. After a lengthy stay in hospital he was allowed home for my mum to look after him, which meant her doing everything for him. We helped, but it was my mum who was there for him 24/7.
10 months after my dad's accident, I was involved in a really bad road traffic accident. My fiance died in accident, and I was airlifted to hospital with a broken hip and pelvis. On arrival at hospital I was pronounced in a coma. I was put on a life support machine and a ventilator to keep me alive. My parents didn't know whether I would wake up from coma as I had a severe head injury as well as my other injuries. My accident happened not a year after my dad had his.
How on earth my mum managed to carry being a full time carer to my dad, then just months after her daughter being in a life threatening accident too is beyond me.
I'm not holding out much hope but maybe, just maybe someone might read this who understands where I'm coming from. My mum is such a special person, who after having 4 children is conscious of her tummy. I think she deserves something nice to happen to her after all she has gone through.

My partners name is Paul and he is a steel erector although currently out of work which is a bit of a struggle for both of us not only financially but being under each others feet all t time. we have 2 little girls and have recently been staying at his mothers flat as we had a leak at home so any spare cash has gone to finishing t house so Paul has been spanding all his time trying to get t house finished so we can get out from under his mothers feet and back into our own beds. I need an extreme makeover. Please someone help. I have PCOS and its really obvious when you look at me. I have facial and body hair like a teenage boy and spend every evening plucking. My skin is always breaking out and i cant stand it anymore. My body is worse. I have the figure of a woman who has had ten kids. my stomach is awful and im overweight all over which really makes my predisposition to having arms like legs a severe tragedy! Because of my PCOS I cant lose any weight without outside help. I desperatley want to get pregnant so i cant take meds to lose the weight. I am a mum of 4(10, 8, 2 and 6mths). I am 36 yrs old and feel like I'm 46. I have a wonderful husband who is gorgeous and I often feel that I am an embarassment to him. Since the age of 14 after a car accident I have been left with scars on my arm and leg which are unsightley and due to immobility for 2 years after accident I gained weight quickly. Then diagnosed with PCO syndrome in my teens. It is a constant battle with my weight. I have struggle with need to take laxatives in a bid to get slimmer, I know this is wrong but I am desperate. Have joined Curves to lose weight and tone up but that can't help my overall look. I want my Husband to look at me and say wow. My husband says that people should be happy the way they are but he looks good anyway, and he is always amazed at how good people look on their reveals. Please can you make my dreams come true and work miracles transforming me into the person locked away inside this aged and forgotten body. I am 54 years old, have worn glasses since the age of 12, and have never had nice straight teeth. A few years ago I was ill with depression, I lost all confidence and now hardly ever socialise. Having this makeover would not only make me look younger but I am sure would give me my confidence back. Please can you tell me how I can get my mum on the show! We fled from Zimbabwe 7years ago and left our whole lives behind. When we got to England she didnt have any friends and got very depressed and put on alot of weight. She has managed to lose it all now as well as build us a new life and look after her disabled mother. Shes done so well but is left with alot of lose skin which means she still doesnt feel comfortable in her body.She watches your show religiously and wishes she could go on it herslef. I know its what she needs to start enjoying her life again as she only 42 and she deserves it after working so hard, this would be my way of thanking her if I could get her on the show!

I am a 49yr old woman, not too bad looking but have a delicious younger husband that i would love to see me as i used to look. I have had difficulties in my life like everyone else and probably dont deserve a make over but but i can watch the programme without crying and then i call all my family and friends and ask them to nominate me. Hello,my name is Jackie,im 45 years old and in August 2008 finally had surgery that since being a very young child had dreamt of..GENDER REASSIGNMENT.After years of inner conflict my body and mind are as one at last.This did come at a price,a divorce,the loss of contact with my two young sons and in employment losing two jobs through ignorance and discrimination,but on the up side i retained the love and support of all of my family including cousins etc and have a wonderful partner Kathy,and we have been together for 6 years and plan to marry next year.Kathy and me moved to Blackpool 5 years ago and have built a larga and varied circle of friends.For the last three years i have been employed in the care industry and in my first year was even nominated for careworker of the year,quite a honour usually but at the time i was transitioning from male to female which was a huge feeling of acceptance.

To Extreme Makerover UK. Hi my name is Christopher, and i live in sutton surrey. For the past 8 years i have spent thousands of pounds trying to save my teeth when i was 16. At 21 the dentist told me by the time i was 25 all my teeth would be gone. I managed to keep at least 16 teeth for my sisters wedding but after that then my life fell apart. I work in a hospital doing Portering and Security and 4 the last 3 years i have only 8 teeth left 1 in front and 3 a bottom and 3 at the side with 7 stuck in the gum. I finally had an operation to remove the rest of my teeth on January 29th 2009, But the problem is that i cant wear my false teeth makes me ill cant hold food down so i lost so much wieght over the last few years from 18stone to 12-13 so at the moment since my operation i have not worn any teeth still working hard but havent been out with my friends for over 3-4 years due to this. Its hard for me when people see me and look at me, i have thought of giving up on life a few times praying to win some money on the lotto so i can have a implants then i can have more confidence in myself and manage to talk to people more confidently i know theres other people in my situation but at 26yrs old just wished and prayed so many times that the 1 dream would come true would be able to smile again at the moment im sad,depressed and stressed just need that dream to happen. Hi I am dan I am 33 yrs old I would love to be considered for a extreme makeover I had weightloss surgery 9th april last ear i used to weigh 26st 9lbs and down too 13 5lbs I also at near xmas time 2 yrs ago before weightloss op I had 3 deep vein thrombosis 2 in the leg and one near the lung at the time so it shook me to do something about my weight hense the gastric bypass op I was given a 40 chance of suriving from the op due to such an amount of weight i was carrying at the time. Also I have mild ceribrial pulsy also hard of hearing but can hear with hearing aids though, also i have squint in one eye which i would like correcting also a bodylift and the awful bags under my arms and legs especially I feel I look disabled looking and would love the bags taken from my eyes also my nose corrected too but I am told differently by friends and family I would love to feel young and not old and frumpy anymore I also would love advice of what clolthes to wear as I am only 5ft 4 inches in height and I really not sure what looks right on a short person and being able to fit in normal clothes I really dont know whats suits and what does not lol as I was used to jogging bottoms all the time for comfort and practicialty now wearing jeans t shirts that are a lot smaller but I am not so sure though so if maurico could recommend to me what looks good that would be great also what hair style too am at a loss whats right for me lol please consider me. Also please make my mums and my wish come true as I am disparte to find my soul mate one day but while looking like this I think my chances are very slim I would also love to nominate my mum u who has been deadicated in helping me get inderpendent in my own home and stuck her life on hold for me for a good 20 yrs or so while I was at home still I was bulied at school and other unfortunate situations too but my mum stuck though thick and thin. I have been on an emotional roller coaster ride and my appearance is affecting my work and any form of hope in meeting a new man in my life. My teeth, as I sit, I have two broken bottom teeth and also have a top denture. I have no money to get them fixed. My dream would be to have implants. I can not smile anymore. I have no idea of what clothes suit me, so I wear "sacks" (dresses that are straight up and down). I am 43 years old and feel like 60. My breasts are heading south, I need them lifted. I have black bags under my eyes that foundation does not even cover over. I am overweight due to a thyroid problem. I cannot afford anything at the moment and it is very depressing. I am stoping my life due to my problems. I have been divorced for a few years and I am hiding from the world due to all of the above.

What's that all about! I am 54 and look 64 at least. When I meet people they start at 64 and move upward!!. I have had seriously baggy eyes since the age of 15. I even had a consultation aged 30 and I asked the consultant what he thought about my face and he got tore in. Photo supplied on request!!

I would love to look good for myself as well as for my husband, my kids love me no matter what but I can't help but think that they may get embarrassed that I am not like the other Mums, I look more like John Travolta in Hairspray!!!!

I am 25 year old, over the years I have had medical problems, with this I have not been able to excercise properly, and have gained alot of weight, BMI over 50, me being on extreme makeover would be fantastic, I have also tried weight watchers, slimming world, slim fast.
My self confidence is well and truly down as I have photos from when i was thin to now and it breaks my heart to see the difference. I miss having the confidence to hold my head high. Yes I am also big chested and all problems with my back to go along with it
I have just got engaged and my hubby's family are so lovely. I am so close to all of them and i would love to repay them by having the house & garden made over. Both of his parents are disabled and especially mom has been through so much this month and infact all her life, she has diabetes, heart condition, and recently had a tumour removed off her brain. She now may have bowel cancer. There home is in need of a makeover as they spend 98% of there life in it and also I would really love for them to be comfortable and happy with spending time in there. They have tried many times to try and DIY there home, but lack of funds and also ability to do it has never come there way. I just want them to have some good luck to come there way. This would be a dream come true for there mom and dad and i know they truly deserve, especially with everything they have gone through. I think you should give me an extreme makeover because of the following: -
• I am fat and can’t get slim, I have been trying for years it just won’t happen anymore. I have a disgusting fat back which hangs over and it is so embarrassing! I hate going on holiday because I look like a beached whale with growths on their back! So I need liposuction and for the skin to be cut off my back! Along with liposuction on my legs and arms and belly (basically all over my body).
• I have horrible teeth with loads of black fillings and my jaw needs to be broken and put back in place as my teeth don’t meet when I bite down.
• I have an ugly face and my nose needs smoothing down as it is bent with a big lump on it.
• I paid for a breast augmentation 5 years ago and since then one of the implants has burst and I cant afford to get them re-done, I wish I had thought of the consequences before paying to have them done, I didn’t think ahead and now am in a horrible situation where I need surgery but cant pay for it!
• I also have a hunch back but I am not sure if any surgery can help that, you would have to see.

Hi i am a 40 year old mum of three beautyful children every penny i have goes on my children and all my time is spent on my children and my husband of course. i have a son of 12 to a previous relationship and then i had a ruptured etopic and nearly died, i then have a daughter age 3, then i had another etopic pregnancy which luckly cleared itself, and then i managed to have my youngest 19 month old daughter,suffered postnatal depression after her. since the rollercoster of pregnancys i have no self esteem what so ever and with looking after the children, i neglect myself my attitude is as long as my children look good thats all that matters. i would really love to be put forward for an extreme makeover to give myself a boost of confidence, also it would help with my marraige as with no ego and self esteme i have become a prude with my husband

I would be so grateful for an extream make over as I'm 21 and am extreamly held back by my body, it really is not appealing and its stopping me living my life. I feel as though I cant be who I am on the inside as it just dosnt match up on the outside. Hi, we are two fortyish females that have recently been dumped for the 2nd time around. To add insult to injury our weight control is always an issue. Im 53 and have a severe back condition which i am in pain with 24 hours a day. I have terrible bags under my eyes,dark circles and terriblelines. I have had really bad teeth for 23 years since being pregnant with my eldest son. I have 2 other children becides this an 17 year old and a 12 year old. My confidence now is nill, due to my back condition and the fact that i have a large gap on the left upper side of my mouth where 4 teeth have been missing for ten years. I also have two broken teeth on the right and no back teeth upper or lower. I have spent years covering my mouth when I speake to anyone and would like nice teeth before I am too old. I have non existing breasts and have alllways spent my summers in jumpers to cover up, i also have a large tummy. I feel exausted and ugly and coping with the back pain on top is just too much. I dont go out now only once a week to do a little bit of shopping. My 12 year old daughter was rushed into hospital 17 months ago and only had a day to live if we hadn't have taken her then> she has diabities type one and is on 4 injecttions for the rest of her life.This is really dificult to cope with with my back condition, i spend most nights staying up all night due to the pain I would really love to be considered for an extreme makeover. thank you.

I am 42 yrs old with children, for the last 15 yrs have suffered with back problems since having an accident whilst pregnant with my oldest son, have had various slips and falls resulting in me being a chronic pain sufferer, ive tried various diets to lose weight after gaining during pregnancy,but nothing really changed, at the moment im part of slimming world where i have reached my first goal of losing 12lb i am hoping things will get better, but have been told by my GP that will only be considered for surgery once ive reached my ideal BMI which could be a fairly long time. I would love to be able to spend more time out and about with my kids but fear they may get tired of waiting and opt to live with their dad perminantly. A breast reduction to ease my back problems and tummy tuck are my biggest problems anything else would be optional?

hello my name is Fiona Mc Cann and I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world, you really couldn't ask for more, but sadly his confidence in himself is rapidly deteriorating, to the point where he is constantly depressed and finds it hard to socialise because he is s embarressed of his teeth, he failed to look after his teeth when he was younger and now is in deep regret as it seems at 27years old his only option is dentures as he would not be able to afford to get a private dentist or to get the necessary surgery!
Having to get dentures in would further provoke these feelings of embarrassment and depression! if he doesn't go ahead with the dentures, he will continue to be in pain constantly due to his rotted teeth,

Hello, i would love it for my mum to be able to get an extreme makeover as she hardleys has any confidence in herself, she never goes out with friends and spend most of her time at her job as a carer. She has dentures as she never looked after her teeth when she was younger and she would love to get them sorted, something like this would be life changing for her and the rest of us. Since she had my brother thirteen years ago, she hasn't been able to shift the weight from having a c section but unfortunatly he died 8 years ago and the loss had made a huge affect on her appearance.

I watch extreme makeover all the time its a brilliant show and it brings tears to my eyes when they reveil themselves to there families. I wish it was me but I know that it never will be I've never been that lucky. I was diagnosed with cancer and I am still in remission so I take it that is where all my luck went in keeping me alive, I know that life is more presous than anything so I will just have to stay ugly forever I have lived with the fact that I will never be beutiful but then again you can't have everything you want in life, but at least thats one thing I do have and that is my life.

I would like to put myself forward for the next exteme makeover. I am 45 years of age and married with two teenage children. I work full time in a hospital on a cancer unit which can be very draining. I feel that I have really let myself go and have lost s lot of my cofidence and just don't seem to be bothered about my appearence anymore. I children keep going on at me that how much older I look that what I should be. I have also put on wait after packing up smoking which i know is a good thing but I use to be a size 8 to 10 and now am 12 to 14 which really has made me feel down and i now have a 38DD bust and I am only 5ft tall.
