I wondered how I apply to go on the show please....I have had a "pouch" for the past 11years after having my son by c.section at 32 weeks, my breasts are like deflated balloons and my stomach is so battle scarred from having kids. it would be great to have a flat tummy instead of a fat one! I go to the gym 3x a week but it is not shifting the stubborn bits, I have a twin who might also be interested in doing the show....

hi i was just wondering when you are next casting for extreme makeover. I'm nearly 23 and i know i may seem young to be putting myself forward for this sort of thing. I had my 1st child at 17 and my 2nd at 21 i work full time and also study at university and while all my frineds are out and about i never go any way as i don't have the confidence as i hate the way i look and cant stand my body, my partner says i look fine but as a young mother i really don't feel it and just want the confidence to even try clothes on as i don't even like to go clothes shopping. I am trying to lose weight and so far have lost a stone and a half but stillhave a long way to go. All i'm asking is your help in trying to make me feel confident, happy and sexy as i feel like i'm missing out on my youth.

Im 35year old woman in real need of a new body. This one has taken is toll. I have 6 kids and 4 step kids. The oldest is 15 and the youngest is 3. I have no energy to do anything with them and im really embaressed to go out the house as i have never lost any of the baby weight that i gained during during pregnancy. my daughters and myself moved to england away from a small town in scotland to be with my now husband. but doing this we left all our friends and family. I have never settled here and have became a hermit. Im just getting bigger and bigger every day. I when through a stage of not eating and lost a lot of weight but as soon as i started eating again i put it all back on plus more. Then I started getting really depressed and it resulted in me doing the worst thing i possibly could do. I started usung laxitives. I would take 2 after every meal. that worked as i wouldnt leave the house and the loo was close by. But i wasnt satisfied as I wasnt losing enough. so i uped the dose. IN the end i was taking up to 16 a day. My husband found me one day lying in the garden. I had fainted and was in pain. He didnt know what was wrong with me. I told him it was just a womans thing. I lied to him. Told him it was because i have having a heavy period and there was nothing to worry about. but that was the final straw. i needed to get help. what if it was one of the kids that found me there. I went to the doctors and he gave me antidepressants. I was determand not to go down that road again. Since then i havent done anything like that again. But i am at my highest weight i have ever been. There is nothing i can do about it. I am desparate for help. I cant do this on my own. I know a sound selfish but im not. I just want to enjoy my family and feel able to leave the house. I said to my husband thet if we ever win the lottery that i want a bypass. I look at over wedding pictures and i see a whale. MY husband is just taller that me and is 9 stones. he is very slim which just makes my looker biger. I felt that selfconcious that i wore a black dress to try and hide my body. I would love to get dressed up and renew our vows looking the best i could possible be. Please can you help my family. I need to be healthy for them and be able to enjoy days out and have energy to do things with them. I watch all the programmes that show people losing weight. I am adicted to them. but as much as i watch i want to cry as there so lucky to get the help that i so so need. please could some one help me please.

41 yrs have a plate with 7 teeth on at the front plus 1 loose 1 at the front.it is hard to explain my mouth feels tight all the time. my daughter is 5yrs and she always says i wish you could smile i tried to explain. ive never had alot of confidence but the last few yrs has worsened. it would be a dream come true to smile again thankyou for reading j holland

Hi my name is Donna,and I am 32 years old. I would like to put myself forward for the show. I have always had weight problems since I can remember. Finally when I was 31 years old i did something about it. I went on a diet and exercised, and from the hard work I lost 5 stones. You would think i would be happy but I am not. I still think I am fat and it is even worse than before because I have got some loose skin on my tummy and boobs now. Most of the time I think why did I bother. I have tried all different exercises. I still run 3 miles a week and do my work out dvd twice a week but it doesn't look like my skin is changing. I am getting really depressed about it. Is there anyone who could help me.

Hi my name is Jamie, an I would really like to apply for extreme make over. Growing up I was never really a looker, and never really had confidence. In my teens I got in to the wrong crowds an got into a lot of trouble. We tended to hang out on streets an go looking for trouble. When I was 15-16 it all came back at me an I was badly beaten up and suffered some bad injury’s to my face, badly breaking my nose an chipping parts of my teeth, at the time it was just war wounds an something to brag about to my friends. Roughly a year had passed and the same happened to me again, by a different group an again I broke my nose an lost some teeth. They do say “what goes around comes around”. An yes I have nothing but regrets for the way I was an I am embarrassed by my past. Ok it was all my own doing an maybe I deserved it but every one deserves another chance. I no longer speak to those crowds an have started a new life with my fiancée. Its hard to forget the past cause every time I look in the mirror it comes back to me, so I feel as if I haven’t changed at all. my confidence is as low as ever an I have grown depressed. All I want is my life to be changed for good. Like I said before I am not proud of my past, but as long as I have these looks it will stick with me, I don’t want to be know as “Jamie with the chipped teeth” so this is why I am asking for your help….

Hi, I would like to try and put my husband foward for one of your shows. He has been through quite a lot and he is on 37. He lost the mojority of his teeth when he was in his teens but never gives a proper smile, we have been through alot with mis-carriages from pragnancies and he also went through a bad divorce.
What with his extreme work load and low self esteem I think he would be a good candidate. He is only 37 but looks a lot older. One of his parents even turned round and said he looks as old as grandad when he died and he was 95, I think he was vastly overdoing it a bit there. As I said, what with all of this playing on this play on his mind and and his heavy workload he also now suffers from panic attacks.
I think this sort of thing could be the lift he needs. He does look very tired with bags under his eyes that make him look really old.

i would like to put my dad forward, because when i was only 7/8 my mother left me and my 4 sisers and my 2 brothers, my dad has looked after us and brought us up to the best of his ability, i was born in leeds but my dad realised that he didnt want us to be brought up there as he had a bad upbringing he got into alot of trouble and didnt want us to get into the same kind of trouble, so he sold everything he had and although it wasnt much he, used the money to move to scarborough which 6 years after we moved to whitby for a bigger house he just wanted the best for us and now he has 10 children me being the oldest girl 18 now with 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother and 6 younger sisters, bringing us all up has taken it out of my father and he believes that he is old at 46 but believes he looks older and with all the stress hes been under it has had a big effect on him, i just want to give him confident so he can be proud of what he has done but also look good so he can feel good. my dad is the best dad ever
i would like to put my mum and my nan forward, for half of last year my mum was constanly sick and in pain, she was rushed to A&E to be told shehad constipation. little did she know that was just the beginning of a very tough journey for her. after months of pain, last october my mum was taken into hospital with kidney failure and was seriously sick, after being kept in for a week and haveing an operation to put stents in her tubes she was told that th reason she was in so much pain was because her bowel had perferated and miraculously it had healed over, the only problem was that she would have to have a big part of her bowel removed and have a colostomy bag. so the next day she went under the knife and woke up in excruciating pain, they had to stop halfway through and re-schedule because she lost too much blood. she went through pain s strong that she was on a high dose of morphine for a week, eventually the time came when she had the second part of the procedure, it was sucsessful but she was in recovrey for 7 hours, when i finally went to visit her she looked awful, she was hooked up to lots of different machines and was being given blood. she was in the hospital in pain for a further 2 weeks before she was allowed home. but that wasnt the last of it, she had to go back just beofre christmas and have her scar opened up again and have slightly more taken out. she was in hospital for 2 and a half weeks this time. my mum is a very strong woman but because of the pain she has been in she has put on weight because she cant excercise. the effect of the illness have taken their toll on her face and to knock her confidence even more she has been left with a bag on the outside of her stomache and a 30cm long 1c thick scar. my mum has lost all her body confidence and i really feel that this would make her the most confident woman ever. i also nominate my nan as she looked after me through this hard time and was strong for me, even when she felt like breaking down she put on a brave face just to keep me at ease.
my mum and my nan are my hero's, to see my mum in a hospital bed, having death scare 3 times is just awful. and to see my nan putting on a smile when she knows her daughter could die, just to keep me strong is admirable. these women are my heros and i could not fault them in any way, i 16, and nearly loosing my mum when i was 15 was the scariest thing in the world. i just want to bring my mum the confidence and body happiness she deserves and i want to say thank you to my nan by making her happy with herself.

i would like to put myself forward for an extreme makeover. 9 years ago i was 26 stone and had to have medication to help me have children which did not help my weight. ihad a daughter and lost her 14 hours after i had her which was hard and turned to food.
a year later i tried the medication again and had a daughter who is now twelve. my first marriage did not work out and we divorced.When i left my husband i lost 13 stone and i also met my second husband and managed to get pregnant again without medication. Then things a bit wrong i went into labour 5 weeks early and was very close to losing my life and the baby luckly we both servived and now our son is 7 years old.I had to have him by emergancy cecerian and hystarectomy at the age of 33 which i delt with. i have now got down to 15 stone 11lb but have a hanging tummy none of my clthes fit right and in hot weather it really makes my scare sore can you please help. yours hopefully mandy

She has been waiting for over 6 years for a breast reduction but as she continues to wait she spirals deeper and deeper into a pit of seclusion.
when she tries to go shopping she ends up in shops that stock sizes 20-34 because that is all she can wear on her top half,her breast are so big that she constantly has back pains and feels too unattractive to even wear clothes that a 23 year old woman should wear. She finds it difficult to be in a crowd or to even do simple things like go to the beach/swimming pool, her confidence and self esteem is below zero she doesn't even have the confidence to go out on dates all because she cant stay out too long because her boobs are so heavy.Besides all of this she puts on a brave face and ploughs on through life sliently suffering,please HELP.

i really wish to apply to uk edition extreme makeover because about 4 years ago i was diagnosed with protien eaking from my kidneys causing me to swell, the doctors put me on steroids and i went from a size 14/16 to 32 plus i was unable to walk my kids to school it was so painfull, now i have been off steroids for about 3 years but cannot lose the round shape the steroids gave mei'm a size 22 / 24 now and seriously depressed, my size affects my energy levels so i i'm tired most of the time i cannot play with my children or do most physicall exercises like ride a bike. the steroids also gave me high blood pressure, high cholesterol and loss of patience. this also affects my daily life =. as you could understand my weight affects my sex life and is now in danger of driving the man i wish to spend the rest of my life with away, cos he can't get close to me like before as well as me being depressed and snappy. to top this off i fell pregnant in august 2007 and in november we were told that the baby was abnormal it's skull hadn't formed properly and that if we continued with the pregnancy the baby would either day later on or shortly after birth, this was more than likely caused by the medication they had me on for my blood pressure according to the doctors it can cause abnormalities ( they didn't tell me this when i asked before falling pregnant they had told me that all the tablets were safe while pregnant)this has made me even more depressed. we are due to get married in 2010 but no matter what exercise i do or what i eat which according to my dietician is a very healthy balanced diet most of the time with odd days of indulgence. i don't eat too much or pig out on chocolates and my depression deepens by the day, causing increasing arguments between myself my partner and my children, please please can you help me i'm really desperate now!

Hi there my name is leah and my mams name is Catherine, she is coming up to 38years of age, my mam always runs herself down and passes judgment about herself, since my father left us 3 years ago life hsnt been easy for mam. She takes care of myself and my 5 other brothers and sisters and my sister younger to me is Autustic, and it puts high dmands on mam, she always puts us first and others but never herself. mam has a big heart she never goes a day with out doing from her heart towards us and her peers. hello.my mom (dawn) is so unhappy.for the past 22years mom had my older brother he as ADHD which mom dealt with then mom had jack who as aurtisam.he is voilent at times and him growing up was hard for mom.in the home jack would hit us all and smash the house.if mom or anyone took jack out he would always hit people in the street.mom would sit and cry.then 6years ago my nan got lung cancer and had part of her lung removed.in hospital nan got RMSA and had part of her stomacke and leg removed.mom would work, look after us and go to see nan twice a day.then my grandad died suddenly.which broke moms heart.as mom is an only child mom at to deal with it all.then nan came out of hospital and mom cared for my nan.5years later my nan died.with all the family stress mom fond it hard to deal with and was broken hearted.then in octorber 2007 jack had to go into a 52week placement.which mom didnt want but know it was the best thing for jack and for us as a family.i sit in bed and here mom crying.mom as always worked and is loved by all her friends and work friends.mom was 21st 11lbs and is now 17st 8lbs and is trying to lose more.the stress as aged mom.she is ashamed of her body and size..i love my mom so much and she would love a makeover.i would love my mom to be one step closer to being happy and help to getting to the person she wants to be.so i hope you would consider my mom for your show.thank you and god bless.jessica.x

Hi I dont know if this is the right way to get on your brilliant show, Over the last 6 Years since i met my lovely gorgeous husband well he is now, I've slowly put weight on. when I was young I was an Airhostess and a beauty therapist. I could keep myself looking well kept. Now after 4 children I need help. I lost my father not so long ago and I feel really old and past it. I would like to grow old gracefully with my children. Not sure if i'm going about this the correct way but i'm hoping someone will read & consider my request for my mother to have the life changing experience of an extreme makeover on behalf of this amazing show. I wont go into to much detail on this message board but basically after having my sister she suffered cervical cancer age 24!!! My mother is now 45 this year and is still deeply effected by the way her body has been left due to going through the menapause so young, she had breast reduction as it made her boobs huge and she suffered awful back aches, it made her job difficult working in a childrens hospice. The reduction left her with awful shape breasts and this had added to her upset about her body. My mother is such an amazing beautiful person that brings joy to everyone she meets I just want her to feel as beautiful as we all know she is. As I say there is so much more I would like to tell you about but dont think its relevent on here unless i'm on the right site. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks Natasha

Hi, Extreme Makeover UK, I love your show since discovering it on Living 2. Every time I watch it I'm amazed at the transformations you do, and sit there gobsmacked at the results at the end! I would dearly love to appear on the show and experience the dream I could never imagine coming true, of just having my body sorted out, so that I don't have to hide it away no more. I'm a busy single mum, always exhausted with no time to myself. I would love to have the confidence and self esteem to face the world. After years of bullying at school and being very withdrawn and shy, I've always hated my image and especially after having my 4 children, and 2 traumatic relationships since I turned 18, (I'm 49), my mind as well as my body have both been abused to the limit. I carry the emotional scars every day. My daughter would tell you how much this has affected my confidence and she also has very deep mental and physical issues. Maybe you could do a double! A mother and daughter feature, were it possible, but maybe It's asking too much?
Oh the joy at being able to wear clothes without having to tuck all the loose skin away, the embarrassment is too much to bear, for me too. (there's no escape in a bikini) is at the top of my dreamlist.Friends say I look fine, but they can't read my mind to know how ugly I feel inside.

Hi, i want to put my mum forward for an extream make over. my mum had a gastric band fitted 2 yrs ago, and has lost alot of weight. but even with the weight loss she now has exces skin, and still isn't happy. my mum is the most amazing woman, she doesn't just help me but also does alot of resue work for animals, and works with alot of troubled teens, for free in her own time, if i could afford to pay for a makeover i'd do it tomorow. please consider my mum for the next series it would change her life.

I hate that I am having to plead for this myself, but nobody knows how I feel because I keep it from everyone. My partner has a small idea of how I feel about my body, but still he is nowhere close. I am only 24, I have no children, yet my body looks like I have had 4!, My stomach hangs in disgusting spare tyre folds. I have made an attempt to loose this extra weight before, but gave up as my body shape persisted. I hate those women who complain that they are struggling to get back into their size 10 jeans.... at least they have had them! I have never been slender, always been the fat girl, and I am sick of the ridicule. on top of that I feel I have an oversized nose that makes me look like miss piggy.... you can imagine why that adds insult to injury. All I need is for someone to help motivate me to loose weight, and know that the end result will be a flat stomach... a sight I have never seem on myself, I therefore don't think possible. Please help me. I just want to be me without this holding me back. oh god, I'm in floods of tears just writing this. please, please, please help me.
Hi, I am entering this for my mum… I would like you to consider her as a candidate for an extreme make over, now I’m not just saying that because she is my mum but it’s the truth, I will briefly explain why.
When my mum was a child she never had the chance to have a childhood, as she had to look after her younger brothers and sisters, there was 8 in total, not only that she had a really touch upbringing, always in second hand clothes, but the worse thing for her was the mental and physical abuse she suffered from her father. She was thrown out of home at 14, left to fend for herself, and fell pregnant with my oldest sister at 16, she was married to her first husband who also abused her in so many different ways I do not want to go into it on here. A few years later with 5 children now to bring up on her own she met my dad, and had me and my brother, obviously I can not remember what happened from when I was a baby but from the age I can remember my dad was a very violet man, who used to abuse not only my mum, but was extremely violent with me, she left my dad when I was 11 and my brother was 7 so she has brought all us 7 children up on her own with no help, as my dad was never around, or never worked, she worked all hours god could send as a nurse. But that’s not it from when I was 12 onwards my mum has been in and out of hospital I can not remember how many times, suffering from server cancer, so as you can imagine she was extremely ill, but that did not stop her working and bringing us up, and helping us children, last year she suffered breast cancer really badly and had her whole chest removed, and instead of taking it easy she was there by my sisters side who had a baby a 25weeks who suffered a lot of problems and we nearly lost him, but instead of my mum looking after herself once again she put us children first.
As you can see just from this message, which is only has half of what my poor mum has been through, she has been through hell and back, and it’s taken it’s toll on her, If she new I told you all this she would go mad as she is a very proud, strong and independent person, now I would like to put her first and with your help, help her look a little younger so she can feel happy in herself again and start to enjoy herself and maybe once in her life put herself first, which I could honestly never see happen.
So if you could please consider my mum, or send me some information how to enter I would be truly grateful.

Just to be a candidate for an extreme makeover would be unbelievable. Ever since I was just a little girl, I've often dreamed about looking, being, feeling "normal" -- I was born with a cleft lip and palette. Always did my best to try and look at least somewhat pretty and as a young adult, I worked very hard on make-up techniques and proved to myself that I really could be attractive, and I believe I was, sort of. I am now 51, missing some teeth, especially because of the receding gum line of my cleft palette. Had a rhinoplasty done free when I was a teenager thanks to the Board of Crippled Children program, but had to have it removed much later in life due to an infection -- and although I wanted to, I never did afford to have my nose redone. Fact is any type of plastic surgery is beyond my means so I've learned to just accept it. Still, I can't help dreaming, imagining how it would be if I was ever given a chance to undergo any type of corrective surgery . . . procedures that's really always been unattainable for me. It'd be nothing short of miraculous! There's really so much more to say about myself, actually. The bottom line for me is this, before I leave this life, I'd really like to have the experience as though I wasn't born with any birth defects -- having beautiful teeth (smile), a decent nose, . . . well, you know what I mean.
I just wanted to ask the same question as everyone else. How and when can I apply to be on the next series? I need everything fixing, too much to list. Thank you.xx

This is for my mum, for a while now she has just let go of herself, things at home got really bad. I have never seen someone so depressed before and it kills knowing she isnt happy. It puts the whole family down. If she had this makeover i know it would change her world completely and put the smile back on her face. She deserves it so much, all day every day she runs around after people, she never thinks about herself, the people closer to her come first. My mum is a lovely women and i would do anything for her. After everything that has happened to her, this makeover would bring back her confidence and bring everyone closer. She needs a break and her smile to be brought back. I love you Mum.
